As you may probably know Back 40 Group has been working on building an internet radio station for nearly a year. We finally went live on October 2nd and even though there will be many features added over the next few months
we are ready for the big time. Please give us a listen, you may discover you like what you thought you didn't! Just look at our ratings already:
Current Audio Realm Country Rank: 12th out of 125 stations
Current Audio Realm Bluegrass Rank: 3rd worldwide
Current Audio Realm Gospel Rank: 17th worldwide
We feature TRADITIONAL country music from the 1930's through the present. TRADITIONAL means lots of steel guitar, dobro and fiddles, with hints of bluegrass thrown in.
We also feature blocks of bluegrass, bluegrass & southern gospel and western Music as well. We have spent over 5 months scouring the web and personal collections to come up with nearly 5000 of the finest performances ever! We will be talking about the music and the performers and if the music is still available you'll be able to purchase it through links next to the play list.

Description: Monday through Friday you can hear all about the people and places of the Old West. From the infamous Wild Bill Hickok and Judge Roy Bean, to the outlaws they pursued, and the cattlemen and settlers who carved out a home in the Western Frontier.
Traditional Country, Way-Back Country, Bluegrass, Western, New Artists Mix: 24 hours per day except:
BJ's Morning Show (Traditional Country, Bluegrass, western, new artists, gospel) : 10 a.m. - noon US CST Monday - Fridays
The Old Buzzard (New & Traditional Country & Bluegrass Bands, way back country, country comedy, 60-70's country-rock crossovers, and backwoods commentary) 8 - 9 p.m. US Central time Monday - Friday
Solid Bluegrass: 6 a.m. - noon US Central Time each Saturday morning
Bluegrass & Southern Gospel mix: 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. US Central Time Sunday Mornings I promise we won't bother you again if you are not interested so no need to un-subscribe from the Back 40 newsletters if our format doesn't interest you. In fact, if you do like what you hear you'll need to ask to be put on our mailing list to receive additional information as we develop.

Listen to KWBC.fm After you are on the site click "Listen with Sam Player" if you are on broadband (cable, satellite of DSL) . If you are on dial-up click "Low Bandwidth" and your own player will launch. When player launches click the "play" button. Within 45 seconds the feed should begin. Happy Listening!
